Definition of the Movement:

The North Guardians Movement is a non-profit social and political entity established to strengthen solidarity, promote public welfare, and advance cultural and social values in Kabul and the northern provinces. This organization aims to improve the living conditions of people, enhance political and social awareness, and support human rights while emphasizing the development of active participation among its members and the community in decision-making processes. The “Guardians Movement” also acts as a bridge to governments and formal institutions and seeks to implement its goals and programs effectively through domestic and international collaborations.

Goals of the North Guardians Movement:

The goals of the North Guardians Movement are designed to create a conducive environment for sustainable development, improve the quality of life for people, and strengthen social cohesion. These goals are as follows:

1. Social Development and Public Welfare: Increase the level of welfare and improve living conditions for people in Kabul and the northern provinces through supportive, educational, and social programs. This movement provides various services to those in need and plays an effective role in enhancing their living conditions.
2. Strengthening Political Participation and Public Awareness: Promote active participation of movement members in political decision-making processes and increase political, social, and cultural awareness through educational and awareness-raising programs, aiming to develop an informed and active community.
3. Preserving and Promoting Local Culture and Arts: Support cultural values and local arts, promote cultural and artistic activities, and preserve cultural heritage. This movement is also committed to media activities to increase public awareness in this area.
4. Enhancing Transparency and Accountability: Establish a transparent and accountable structure for decision-making and resource management to gain public trust and foster cohesion among members and the community.
5. Developing Education: Provide educational opportunities for youth and adults through specialized training courses, educational programs, and support for educational institutions. Establishing universities and both in-person and online schools is among the key objectives.
6. Supporting Human Rights and Social Justice: Promote the principles of human rights and social justice, combating discrimination and inequalities, with a special focus on the rights of minorities and vulnerable groups.
7. Strengthening International Cooperation and Communication: Establish and strengthen international connections with various institutions and organizations to exchange experiences, resources, and support shared goals.
8. Establishing and Managing a Charitable Foundation: Create a charitable foundation to collect financial resources and provide humanitarian assistance to those in need, implement charitable and supportive projects, and help improve social and welfare conditions.
